OUR MISSION:
Congregation Ahavat Shalom, The Sephardic Cultural Center, is a warm and vibrant community that is committed to preserve, cultivate and share the rich and beautiful customs and traditions of our Jewish Heritage to all.
OUR COMMUNITY:
While we conduct our prayer services in accordance with the traditional Sephardic version / "Nusach", the diversity of our congregation defies categorization, and all who attend receive the same respect and consideration, regardless of level of observance, knowledge or background. We are a growing community, with approximately 100 current families registered as members. We have no doubt that you will feel welcomed and right at home as soon as you enter our gates, with the warmth and inviting spirit that permeates our community. Congregants hail from far-flung communities in all five continents; Europe, Asia, Africa, North & South America, and even Australia. These diverse origins make the synagogue a dynamic, exciting, and unique place for religious, social, culinary, and educational experiences.
Our congregation also has a policy that "Everyone is Welcome, All The Time!" thus no one is turned away due to financial difficulties. Everyone is welcome to pray and participate in all of our services and activities.
Our Services are held in our beautiful, conveniently located Synagogue at: 13402 N. Scottsdale Rd. Unite # 125A, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. For a map of our Synagogue and directions, click HERE
